British Talent Cup
The Honda British Talent Cup is a United Kingdom junior motorcycle racing series. It was founded in 2018 for riders at ages 12 to 17 from the British Isles to apply. One rider will be given a chance to race full-time in the FIM CEV Moto3 Junior World Championship, while two drivers will race in the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup. Honda is the series' bike supplier, providing the riders with the Moto3 Honda NSF250R. In the inaugural 2018 season, Scottish rider Rory Skinner won the cup, 27 points ahead of Englishman Thomas Strudwick. In the second season, Scott Ogden clinched the victory, four points ahead of Cameron Horsman. In the Covid-19-struck 2020 season, Franco Bourne and Casey O'Gorman vied for the title, with Bourne coming out on top. O'Gorman won the 2021 season, winning eight races. Donington Park
Donington Park is a motorsport circuit located near Castle Donington in Leicestershire, England. The circuit business is now owned by Jonathan Palmer's MotorSport Vision organisation, and the surrounding Donington Park Estate, still owned by the Wheatcroft family, is currently under lease by MotorSport Vision until 2038. It has a capacity of 120,000, and is also the venue of the Download Festival. Originally part of the Donington Hall estate, it was created as a racing circuit during the period between the First and Second World Wars when the German Silver Arrows were battling for the European Championship. The Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup is a motorcycle racing series contested by young, up-and-coming motorcycle riders, who have not had experience in a motorcycle grand prix previously. The class was founded in 2007, and since then a number of the rookies have progressed through to the 125cc/Moto3 championship in MotoGP. Prior to the 2013 season, a 2-stroke KTM RC 125cc engine was used. The year 2013 saw a change of machinery to the 4-stroke KTM RC250RBR, following the introduction of the four-stroke Moto3 class. Grand Prix motorcycle racing is the premier class of motorcycle road racing events held on road circuits sanctioned by the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM). Scott Ogden
Scott Ogden (born 16 October 2003) is an English Grand Prix motorcycle racer, competing in his inaugural Moto3 World Championship for Michael Laverty's VisionTrack Racing Team during 2022. He won the Motostar Moto3 (Standard) British Championship in 2019, and spent 2020 and 2021 in the Spanish (CEV) Junior World Championship. Career Moto3 World Championship Ogden crashed out of the first Moto3 race of the season at Losail on lap seven of 18, when running in 19th place. In the second race at Mandalika, he scored three points with a 13th-place finish. In the third race of the season at Argentina on 3 April, Ogden failed to finish the race, pitting six laps before the end. British Superbike Championship
The British Superbike Championship (BSB), currently known for sponsorship reasons as the Bennetts British Superbike Championship, is the leading road racing superbike championship in the United Kingdom, and was once widely acknowledged as the premier domestic superbike racing series in the world. British Supersport Championship
British Supersport Championship is a support series to the British Superbike Championship (BSB) for engine capacities smaller than Superbike. British Supersport runs one or two rounds per weekend at each BSB event. The BSS championship is seen as a stepping stone for the younger talent to progress to the British Superbike Championship or to World level classes. Thomas Strudwick
Thomas Strudwick (born 17 October 2001) is a British motorcycle road racer from West Sussex. In 2020, Strudwick raced in the Open600 class of the Campeonato de España de Superbike (ESBK) for the Team Edge RST Racing Team.
