Jorn (band)
Jorn is a Norwegian hard rock and metal band fronted by vocalist Jørn Lande. Other members include guitarist Tore Moren, bassist Sid Ringsby and drummer Francesco Jovino. The band was established in 2000 by Lande and the debut album '' Starfire'' was released the same year. The band was the main artist at ProgPower USA in 2006, and they played at the Norway Rock Festival and the Metal Heart Festival in 2007, as well as the Jorddunst Festival in 2009. They also played at the Norway Rock Festival in 2010. Song For Ronnie James
"Song for Ronnie James" is a song by Norwegian heavy metal singer Jorn from the tribute album '' Dio''. It was written as a tribute to the deceased Ronnie James Dio who died a couple of months earlier. The song is the only one on the album which is not a Dio / Black Sabbath / Rainbow A rainbow is a meteorological phenomenon that is caused by reflection, refraction and dispersion of light in water droplets resulting in a spectrum of light appearing in the sky. The music video, together with the announcement of the tribute album, was released on the internet just five days after the news of Dio's death in May 2010, which caused some critique and speculation, as Lande was accused of exploiting the death of Dio. The bass guitar, electric bass or simply bass (), is the lowest-pitched member of the string family. It is a plucked string instrument similar in appearance and construction to an electric or an acoustic guitar, but with a longer neck and scale length, and typically four to six strings or courses. Since the mid-1950s, the bass guitar has largely replaced the double bass in popular music. The guitar is a fretted musical instrument that typically has six strings.
