Missouri Route 13
Route 13 is a highway in Missouri which runs almost the entire north–south length of the state. Its northern terminus is at U.S. Route 69/ 136 in Bethany. Its southern terminus is at the Arkansas state line in downtown Blue Eye, Missouri–Arkansas where it continues as Highway 21. It is one of the original state highways of Missouri. The road serves as an important corridor between Springfield and Kansas City, two of the three largest cities in the state. Heading north from Springfield, Route 13 intersects Route 7 at Clinton which in turn carries traffic to Interstate 49/U.S. Route 71 at Harrisonville. I-49/US 71 then continues on into downtown Kansas City. Missouri Route 215
Route 215 is a highway in southern Missouri. Its northern terminus is at Route 39 south of Stockton; its southern terminus is at U.S. Route 65 between Buffalo and Springfield. Except for a short section which overlaps Route 13, it is a two-lane highway its entire length. It was originally a set of supplemental routes. In the early 2000s, US 65 was realigned and the southern terminus was extended about east opposite the western terminus of Route O. The highway runs more east–west than north–south, but is marked as a north–south highway. Route description The highway begins southwest of Stockton near Stockton Lake. Bolivar, Missouri
Bolivar is a city and county seat of Polk County, Missouri, United States. As of a 2019 estimate by the U. S. Census Bureau, the city population was 11,067. History Bolivar began as a settlement around Keeling Spring, with the majority of settlers being from Hardeman County, Tennessee. The settlement became part of Greene County, Missouri when that county was organized in 1833. After the northern part of Greene County was ceded to form Polk County, Missouri, the Polk County Court proclaimed the settlement as a city, named it Bolivar, and designated it as the county seat on 10 November 1835. Bolivar was re-organized as a fourth-class city on 15 February 1881. Bolivar experienced growth in 1884 when the St. Louis–San Francisco Railway was extended to that point. Brighton, Tennessee
Brighton is a town in Tipton County, Tennessee, United States. The population was 2,735 at the 2010 census. History Brighton was established in the year 1873, along the newly completed tracts of the Memphis and Paducah Railroad upon the lands of A. W. Smith, Sr. who gave the initial five acres for the Depot grounds. The new town was named for Mr. Bright, the first conductor on the Memphis Division of the said road. The new town grew quickly. By the late 1870s, Brighton had two dry goods stores, three grocery stores, two saloons, two blacksmith shops, two wagon shops, one brick yard, one steam saw and grist mill, one steam cotton gin, a Baptist church, two physicians, and a population of approximately 100.
