Bridgestone Tournament
The was a professional golf tournament in Japan, sponsored by Bridgestone. Founded in 1972, it had been an event on the Japan Golf Tour since in inaugural season in 1973. From 1972 to 1984, the title of the event was the Bridgestone Tournament, because it was only for professional players. The tournament record is 265 (−23), set by Yuta Ikeda in 2010. The 2018 total purse was ¥150,000,000 with ¥30,000,000 going to the winner. Seungsu Han (born September 10, 1986) is an American professional golfer who plays on the Japan Golf Tour. He won the 2017 Casio World Open and the end-of-season 2020 LG Signature Players Championship on the Korean Tour. Amateur career Han was born in South Korea. He attended the University of Nevada-Las Vegas. Han turned professional after earning a place on the 2009 Nationwide Tour. Professional career Han had an unsuccessful first season on the Nationwide Tour, making the cut in only 6 out of 24 events he played and failing to retain his place on the tour. Lee Kyoung-hoon (; born 24 August 1991), also known as K. H. Lee, is a South Korean professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour. He won the 2021 and 2022 AT&T Byron Nelson. Professional career Lee turned professional in 2010 and joined the OneAsia Tour for 2011, earning his card through qualifying school. He finished 39th on the Order of Merit with his best finish being a tie for sixth. He joined the Japan Golf Tour in 2012 and recorded a runner-up finish in his second event of the year. Satoshi Kodaira
is a Japanese professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour and Japan Golf Tour. While playing on the Japan Golf Tour, Kodaira has had seven victories, including two Japan Golf Tour majors, the 2013 Japan Golf Tour Championship Shishido Hills and the 2015 Japan Open. He has also won once on the Japan Challenge Tour in 2012. In April 2018, Kodaira won the RBC Heritage, for his first victory on the PGA Tour, in just his 15th start.
