Bridgeport Charter Township is a charter township of Saginaw County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The 2020 Census placed the population at 10,104. History Bridgeport Township was established in 1848. A sawmill was built there in 1849. By the mid-1860s there was also a shingle mill, three shingle factories and a salt well.
