''Bridge'' is a Maldivian comedy drama web series written and directed by Amjad Ibrahim. It stars Sheela Najeeb, Ahmed Shaz, Ali Shameel and Amira Ismail. The pilot episode of the series was released on 2 April 2022 and was concluded on 4 June 2022. Amjad Ibrahim
Amjad Ibrahim Didi (born 11 September 1967), commonly known as Amjad Ibrahim is a Maldivian film director and screenwriter. Early life After completing eleven years of service in Maldives National Defence Force, Ibrahim decided to pursue a career in film direction due to his "fondness" towards film-making process. His first work as a director was Naifaru Dhohokko's video single "Maslahathu Neiy An'binney", followed by directing six songs for the television program, ''Maazeege Handhaan''. His first television drama, ''Maaburuge Usoolu'' was released in 1995 produced by the Maldives National Defence Force. Ravee Farooq
Ravee Farooq is a Maldivian actor, director, editor and choreographer. Career Farooq made his film debut with Abdul Faththaah-directed romantic disaster film, '' Hureemey Inthizaarugaa'' (2005) cast along with Mariyam Zuhura, Waleedha Waleed, Ibrahim Jihad and Neena Saleem. The film, heavily relied on the effect of the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake on the Maldives, received favorable reviews from critics though it failed to perform financially. Farooq played the disrespectful husband who chose wealth above his family. His performance won a Miadhu Crystal Award for the Best Male Newcomer. A comedy film is a category of film which emphasizes humor. These films are designed to make the audience laugh through amusement. Sheela Najeeb
Sheela Najeeb (born 7 September 1974) is a Maldivian film actress. She has established a career in Maldivian Film Industry and is the recipient of several awards, one Gaumee Film Awards and two Maldivian Film Awards. She made her screen debut alongside Junaid in a music video "Nudhaashey Magey Loabivaa" and featured in several films afterwards. Ali Shameel
Ali Shameel is a Maldivian film actor and director. Career In 1986, Shameel took part in a stage-play titled CDS-6, alongside Kashima Shakir, Mohamed Rasheed and Chilhiya Moosa Manik which was appreciated among the audience and he continues to feature in several other stage dramas. In 1992, Shameel made his career debut in Ahmed Sharmeel and Ibrahim Waheed's family drama film ''Dhon Manma'' (1992) alongside Haajara Abdul Kareem, Ibrahim Shakir and Sharmeel. Amira Ismail (born 4 October 1985) is a Maldivian actress. Career Ismail first filmed for a film titled ''Loabi Dhasvejje'' which was ultimately delayed and shelved. She then collaborated with Amjad Ibrahim for his romantic horror film '' Dhonkamana'' (2003) which depicts the romantic relationship between a young man (played by Yoosuf Shafeeu) and an old woman (played by Fauziyya Hassan).
