Brian Charles Rooney is an American actor and singer. Technically a sopranist (sopranista or male soprano), he has also sung high tenor roles in theatrical productions in the United States, Canada, and Europe. He made his Broadway debut in The Roundabout Theatre Company's 2006 revival of Kurt Weill and Bertolt Brecht's ''The Threepenny Opera'' in the role of Lucy Brown. As a tenor, he played Tony on a European tour of the American musical ''West Side Story''. He has been featured in musical and non-musical theatrical productions in such cities as San Francisco, Miami, San Diego, Los Angeles, and Dallas. He has been a featured soloist with the Seattle Symphony Orchestra and the Oregon Symphony Orchestra. Andrew Aitken Rooney (January 14, 1919 – November 4, 2011) was an American radio and television writer who was best known for his weekly broadcast "A Few Minutes with Andy Rooney", a part of the CBS News program '' 60 Minutes'' from 1978 to 2011. Elections were held on November 2, 2010, to determine Michigan's 15 members of the United States House of Representatives. Representatives were elected for two-year terms to serve in the 112th United States Congress from January 3, 2011, until January 3, 2013. Primary elections were held on August 3, 2010. Of the 15 elections, the 1st, 7th and 9th districts were rated as competitive by '' Sabato's Crystal Ball'', ''CQ Politics'' and ''The Rothenberg Political Report'', while ''The Cook Political Report'' rated the 1st, 3rd, 7th and 9th districts as competitive.
