Brian McGinty
Brian McGinty (born 10 December 1976) is a Scottish former professional footballer. After beginning his career with Rangers in the Scottish Football League Premier Division he later played league football in both Scotland and England. Career Born in East Kilbride, McGinty came through the youth system at Rangers. He made his Premier Division debut in January 1995 against Partick Thistle but only made a further three appearances in as many seasons. Former Rangers striker Mark Hateley signed McGinty for Hull City in November 1997 and he played over fifty games for the club before leaving for Conference side Scarborough on a short-term deal in August 1999. McGinty returned to Scotland for a spell at Airdrie but moved on to Irish League side Portadown where he broke his leg in April 2000. East Kilbride
East Kilbride (; gd, Cille Bhrìghde an Ear ) is the largest town in South Lanarkshire in Scotland and the country's sixth-largest locality by population. It was also designated Scotland's first new town on 6 May 1947. Stephen Docherty
Stephen Docherty (born 18 February 1976) is a Scottish former football player and coach. He previously played in the Scottish Football League for Partick Thistle and Clydebank. He also played for both Airdrieonians and their re-inacarnation Airdrie United. Playing career He scored the first goal for the reborn Airdrie United club, in a 1–0 win over Forfar Athletic at New Broomfield. He was also captain of the club and was inducted into the Airdrie United "Hall of Fame" in 2007. Docherty dropped down to junior level, joining Bathgate Thistle in 2006. He was part of the Bathgate team that defeated Cumnock Juniors 2–1 to win the 2008 Scottish Junior Cup Final, assisting Paul McGrillen's winning goal. Scottish Junior Football Association
The Scottish Junior Football Association (SJFA) is an affiliated national association of the Scottish Football Association and is the governing body for the junior grade of football in Scotland. The term "junior" refers to the level of football played, not the age of the players. The closest equivalent terminology would be non-League football in England, the difference being that junior football in Scotland was not similarly integrated into its football league system until 2021. Bell's Palsy
Bell's palsy is a type of facial paralysis that results in a temporary inability to control the facial muscles on the affected side of the face. In most cases, the weakness is temporary and significantly improves over weeks. Symptoms can vary from mild to severe. They may include muscle twitching, weakness, or total loss of the ability to move one or, in rare cases, both sides of the face. Other symptoms include drooping of the eyelid, a change in taste, and pain around the ear. Typically symptoms come on over 48 hours. Bell's palsy can trigger an increased sensitivity to sound known as hyperacusis. The cause of Bell's palsy is unknown and it can occur in any age. Tom Hendrie
Thomas Hendrie (born 24 October 1955) is a Scottish former professional football player and manager. Playing career A midfielder, Hendrie plied his trade at a number of clubs in the late 1970s, Dundee, Arbroath, Gateshead and Goole Town before settling at Meadowbank Thistle in 1980. Here he made 335 appearances for the club, scoring 30 goals before leaving to join Berwick Rangers in 1992. Managerial career Hendrie became manager of Berwick in January 1994 and in his first season he took them to second place in the Second Division, narrowly missing out on promotion due to league reconstruction. In 1996, he moved to Alloa Athletic and he took them to the Third Division championship in 1998. The NIFL Premiership, known as the Danske Bank Premiership for sponsorship purposes, and colloquially as the Irish League or Irish Premiership, is a professional association football league which operates as the highest division of the Northern Ireland Football League – the national league in Northern Ireland.
