Brian Masaba
Brian Masaba (born 12 September 1991) is a Ugandan cricketer and the current captain of the Uganda cricket team. Career He played for Uganda in the 2014 Cricket World Cup Qualifier tournament. In April 2018, he was named Uganda's vice-captain for the 2018 ICC World Cricket League Division Four tournament in Malaysia. In July 2018, he was part of Uganda's squad in the Eastern sub region group for the 2018–19 ICC World Twenty20 Africa Qualifier tournament. In September 2018, he was named as the vice-captain of Uganda's squad for the 2018 Africa T20 Cup. The following month, he was named as the vice-captain of Uganda's squad for the 2018 ICC World Cricket League Division Three tournament in Oman. A Twenty20 International (T20I) is a form of cricket, played between two of the international members of the International Cricket Council (ICC), in which each team faces a maximum of twenty overs. The matches have top-class status and are the highest T20 standard. The game is played under the rules of Twenty20 cricket. The 2021 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Africa Qualifier was a cricket tournament that was played as part of qualification process for the 2022 ICC Men's T20 World Cup, during October and November 2021. In April 2018, the International Cricket Council (ICC) granted full international status to Twenty20 men's matches played between member sides from 1 January 2019 onwards.
