Brian Bement
Brian Bement (born July 2, 1993) is an American soccer player who plays for St. Louis Ambush of the Major Arena Soccer League. Career Bement played college soccer at Loyola University Chicago between 2011 and 2014. Puerto Rico FC Bement signed with Puerto Rico Football Club of the North American Soccer League on March 31, 2016. Following the regular season, PRFC took part in and won the inaugural Copa Luis Villarejo, earning the team a spot in the 2017 Caribbean Club Championship. Bement scored two goals in the second leg of his team's First Round match-up against Guayama FC. He was released at the end of the 2017 season. Jacksonville Armada Following an open tryout, Bement was signed by Jacksonville Armada FC of the National Premier Soccer League. 2017 North American Soccer League Season
The 2017 North American Soccer League season was the 50th season of Division II soccer in the United States and Canada, and the 7th season of the modern North American Soccer League. The defending champions are the New York Cosmos who defeated Indy Eleven in Soccer Bowl 2016. Eight clubs played in the NASL after provisional sanctioning by the United States Soccer Federation. Expansion side, San Francisco Deltas joined the league. After the 2016 season, Minnesota United left the league to join Major League Soccer, and the Tampa Bay Rowdies and Ottawa Fury left the league to join the United Soccer League. The 2019–20 Chattanooga FC season was the club's first season playing in the National Independent Soccer Association, a newly established third division soccer league in the United States, and first professional season since being established in 2009. Overview Chattanooga FC was admitted into the National Independent Soccer Association on August 15, 2019 and latter fully accepted by the U.S. Soccer Federation on December 11, 2019, and will start competing in the 2020 Spring season. The 2018 National Premier Soccer League season was part of the 106th season of FIFA-sanctioned soccer in the United States and the 16th season of the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL). Elm City Express was the defending champion. The 2018 NPSL champion qualifies to play for the 2019 Hank Steinbrecher Cup organized by the United States Adult Soccer Association. The 2017 Puerto Rico FC season was the club's second season and first full season of existence. The club played in the North American Soccer League, the second tier of the American soccer pyramid. Season review On January 23, the team announced the return of five regulars from the 2016 starting XI as well as a young prospect. Returning players were Trevor Spangenberg, Rudy Dawson, Cristiano Dias, Ramón Soria, Kyle Culbertson, and young goalkeeper Austin Pack. The 2016 Puerto Rico FC season was the club's first season of existence. The club played in North American Soccer League, the second tier of the American soccer pyramid, enter only in the Fall season in which they finished 9th. After winning the Copa Luis Villarejo on November 20; Puerto Rico FC qualified for the 2017 CFU Club Championship with matches taking place in the coming-up 2017 season. Season review Commitment to the Community As part of their commitment to the community in May 2016, Puerto Rico FC had their first three clinics of the season in Dorado, Farjardo and Hatillo with the participation of over a hundred boys and girls. The Caribbean Club Championship, also known as the CFU Club Championship or CFU Club Champions' Cup, was an annual international football competition held amongst association football clubs that are members of the Caribbean Football Union (CFU). The Caribbean Club Championship served as a qualifying event for the CONCACAF Champions League tournament. The tournament was officially the Flow CONCACAF Caribbean Club Championship for sponsorship reasons from 2018 to 2022. The National Independent Soccer Association (NISA) is a professional men's soccer league in the United States. The league is in the third tier of American soccer and began play in 2019. NISA initially used a fall-to-spring season format with a winter break but have switched to spring-to-fall which is more common in the United States. The Wisconsin Badgers men's soccer team is a varsity intercollegiate athletic team of University of Wisconsin–Madison in Madison, Wisconsin, United States. Breese Stevens Municipal Athletic Field is a multi-purpose stadium in Madison, Wisconsin. Located eight blocks northeast of the Wisconsin State Capitol on the Madison Isthmus, it is the oldest extant masonry grandstand in Wisconsin. The field is named in honor of Breese J. Stevens (1834–1903), a mayor of Madison and a University of Wisconsin–Madison regent, on the wishes of his widow, who sold the land to the city.
