Bren Esports is a Southeast Asian professional esports organization based in the Philippines. It has competitive teams in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, CS:GO, PUBG, League of Legends, Overwatch, Hearthstone, Clash Royale, Arena of Valor, Rules of Survival, Valorant, and Tekken 7. In the Philippine esports league The Nationals, the team competes as Bren EPro. The organization was founded on 16 August 2017 by Bernard "Bren" Chong who is part of the Chong clan that owns World Balance. ''Rules of Survival'' (''RoS'') is an inactive free-to-play, multiplayer online battle royale game developed and published by NetEase Games, first released via beta access in November 2017. By October 2018, the game had reached 230million players worldwide. As of May 30, 2018, the game was released on Steam. Unlike the free non-Steam version, however, the game was released with a price tag, offering "special gifts" with the purchase. The game was later taken down from Steam by June 13, 2018, and reinstated by June 28, 2018. Burmese Ghouls (often abbreviated as BG) was a professional '' MLBB'' team from Myanmar formerly operating under Burmese Ghouls Esports. The team disbanded on 3 July 2021 due to Chinese games boycotts after the 2021 Myanmar coup d'état. They were one of the best MLBB teams in Myanmar. On January 23, 2021, they won the first runner-up award at the M2 World Championship.
