Brecht Wallis
Brecht "The Gentle Giant" Wallis (born 6 September 1977) is a Belgian retired kickboxer. He holds notable victories over Jorgen Kruth (twice), Carter Williams, Alexander Ustinov, and Errol Zimmerman. komt uit Houthalen-Oost Career and biography Brecht Wallis started training in judo at the age of 12 and a few years later moved on to Muay Thai. Lommel () is a municipality and a city in the Belgian province of Limburg. The Kempen city has about 34,000 inhabitants and is part of the electoral district and the judicial district Lommel Neerpelt. Daniel Florin Ghiță (, born 22 April 1981) is a Romanian politician and former kickboxer, who serves as a member of the Chamber of Deputies of Romania since December 2020. Ghiță is the former It's Showtime heavyweight champion. He formerly competed in Glory, and was the runner up of the Glory Heavyweight Grand Slam tournament. He also competed for the Japanese K-1 promotion, where he made his name in their 2009 and 2010 World Grand Prix seasons. Ghiță is one of the biggest stars in kickboxing history known for throwing powerful low kicks. He was also known for his enormous left hook. Daniel Ghiță was often referred to as the “Savage Samurai”. He was widely considered one of the greatest kickboxers. He was ranked No. 1 heavyweight in the world in 2014. Lloyd Daniël van Dams (5 March 1972 – 29 December 2021), also known as The Tornado, was a Surinamese-born Dutch heavyweight kickboxer. He was a Dutch, European, and World Muay Thai champion. Known for his durability, van Dams was never knocked out in 84 professional fights (though he was defeated once via TKO from exhaustion). K-1 is a professional kickboxing promotion established in 1993, well known worldwide mainly for its heavyweight division fights and Grand Prix tournaments. In January 2012, K-1 Global Holdings Limited, a company registered in Hong Kong, acquired the rights to K-1, and is the current organizer of K-1 events worldwide.
