Breathless (Shayne Ward Album)
''Breathless'' is the second studio album by English singer Shayne Ward. It was released through Syco Music in the United Kingdom on 26 November 2007. The album is mostly written by Rami Yacoub, Arnthor Birgisson and Savan Kotecha. The album was commercially successful, debuting at number two on the UK Albums Chart. It sold 95,801 units within a week of release, although ultimately less successful than its predecessor, Ward's self-titled album. Two singles were released from the album, one of which was a Double A-side. On 31 October 2007, an official ''Breathless'' DVD, which included exclusive interviews and five music videos, was released via Woolworths stores in the UK. The album has earned a platinum certification in the United Kingdom and went five times platinum in Ireland. He rose to fame as the winner of The X Factor (British series 2), the second series of ''The X Factor (British TV series), The X Factor''. AllMusic (previously known as All Music Guide and AMG) is an American online music database. It catalogs more than three million album entries and 30 million tracks, as well as information on musicians and bands. The Irish Albums Chart is the Irish music industry standard albums popularity chart issued weekly by the Irish Recorded Music Association (IRMA). The charts were previously compiled on behalf of IRMA by Chart-Track, and have been compiled by the Official Charts Company since 2017. Chart rankings are based on sales, which are compiled through over-the-counter retail data captured electronically each day from retailers' Point of sale systems and certain digital retailers. All major record stores and over forty independents submit data for the charts, accounting for over 80% of the market, according to Chart-Track.
