Brazos Valley is a planned rail station on the Texas Central Railway high-speed line between Dallas and Houston. Texas State Highway 30
State Highway 30 (SH 30) runs from Business SH 6-R in College Station via Roans Prairie to SH 19 in Huntsville. It is known as Harvey Road between Business SH 6-R and FM 158 in College Station, as 11th Street between I-45 and US 190 (Phelps Dr) in Huntsville, and as Riverside Drive east of US 190 (Phelps Dr) in Huntsville. The current version of SH 30, the second route with that designation, was established in 1960. The previous designation existed from 1917 to 1939, when it was replaced with US 277. Roans Prairie (or Roan's Prairie) is an unincorporated community in Grimes County, in east central Texas, United States. Texas Central Railway
Texas Central or Texas Central Partners, LLC, is a private railroad company that is proposing a high-speed rail line between Dallas/Fort Worth and Houston. It plans to use technology based on that used by the Central Japan Railway Company and trains based on the N700S Series Shinkansen. The company has indicated that the journey time would be less than 90 minutes, with service beginning as early as 2026. State Highway 90 (SH 90) is a state highway that runs between Madisonville, Texas and Navasota. It was originally designated by 1933 along its current route, except that it extended southwest from Navasota to Brenham. This section was transferred to SH 105 in 1973.
