Brandt Iden (born July 5, 1983) is an American politician who has served in the Michigan House of Representatives from the 61st district since 2015. Michigan House Of Representatives
The Michigan House of Representatives is the lower house of the Michigan Legislature. There are 110 members, each of whom is elected from constituencies having approximately 77,000 to 91,000 residents, based on population figures from the 2010 U.S. Census. Its composition, powers and duties are established in Article IV of the Michigan Constitution. Members are elected in even-numbered years and take office at 12 p.m. (EST) on January 1 following the November general election. Concurrently with the Michigan Senate, the House first convenes on the second Wednesday in January, according to the state constitution. Each member is limited to serving three terms of two years. Margaret O'Brien (politician)
Margaret O'Brien (born November 20, 1973) is a former member of the Michigan Senate and the Michigan House of Representatives. A member of the Republican Party, she represented a district based in Kalamazoo. Early life O'Brien was born in Kalamazoo County to Richard and Katheleen (Crawford) Wilson. Her childhood was spent on dairy farms with her three brothers, first in Pavilion Township and then in Texas Township. She attended Fulton and Indian Lake Elementary Schools in Vicksburg and graduated in 1991 from Mattawan High School, where she excelled in track and field and cross country. The women's track record for the 3200-meter relay, set in 1991, is still held by O'Brien and her teammates. Christine Morse (born 1973) is an American Democratic politician from Michigan. She was elected to the Michigan House of Representatives from the 61st district in 2020. She was then elected to represent the 40th district in 2022. Early life and education Morse was born in Tecumseh, Michigan in 1973. Morse earned a bachelor's degree from Michigan State University and then a J.D. degree from Wayne State University Law School. Career Morse worked as an attorney from 1999 to 2002. Morse has served as the Kalamazoo County Commissioner representing the 9th district since 2018.
