Brandon Sartiaguín
Brandon Guadalupe Sartiaguín Godoy (born 21 February 2000) is a Mexican professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Liga MX club Toluca. Sartiaguín hails from Guadalupe Victoria, a town in San Blas Municipality, Nayarit. His older brother, Jorge, also played for Toluca. On 13 September 2020, Sartiaguín scored his first professional goal in a 1–1 draw with América at Estadio Azteca. Nayarit
Nayarit (), officially the Free and Sovereign State of Nayarit ( es, Estado Libre y Soberano de Nayarit), is one of the 31 states that, along with Mexico City, comprise the Federal Entities of Mexico. It is divided in 20 municipalities and its capital city is Tepic. It is bordered by the states of Sinaloa to the northwest, Durango to the north, Zacatecas to the northeast and Jalisco to the south. Estadio Azteca () is a multi-purpose stadium located in Mexico City. It is the official home of football clubs Club América and Cruz Azul as well as the Mexico national football team. The 2021–22 Liga MX season (known as the Liga BBVA MX for sponsorship reasons) was the 75th professional season of the top-flight football league in Mexico. The 2020–21 Liga MX season (known as the Liga BBVA MX for sponsorship reasons) was the 74th professional season of the top-flight football league in Mexico. The season was divided into two championships—the Torneo Guardianes 2020 and the Torneo Guardianes 2021—each in an identical format and each contested by the same eighteen teams. Both the Apertura 2020 and Clausura 2021 tournaments were renamed "Torneo Guardianes 2020" and "Torneo Guardianes 2021" (stylized as Guard1anes) to honor healthcare workers in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic in Mexico. The Guardianes 2020 tournament began on 24 July 2020. Marcos Ignacio "Nacho" Ambriz Espinoza (born 7 February 1965) is a Mexican former professional footballer and current manager of Liga MX club Toluca. Playing career Playing for various clubs in Mexico, Ambríz is closely associated with Club Necaxa, a club he had three spells with, and was part of two championship-winning seasons in 1994–95 and 1995–96. He earned 64 caps and scored 6 goals for the Mexico national team between 1992 and 1995, and captained the squad at the 1994 FIFA World Cup, where he played in all four games. Ambríz also formed part of the national squad that won the 1993 CONCACAF Gold Cup.
