Brandon Mebane
Brandon Jerome Mebane (born January 15, 1985) is a former American football defensive tackle. He attended Crenshaw High School in Los Angeles. He played college football at California. He was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the third round of the 2007 NFL Draft. He also played for the Los Angeles Chargers. College career Mebane played four seasons at California, recording 109 tackles, 25.5 tackles for a loss, 14.5 sacks, 1 forced fumble, and 1 fumble recovery. Professional career Seattle Seahawks Mebane was selected by the Seattle Seahawks in the 3rd round, 85th overall of the 2007 NFL Draft, and on July 24, he signed a four-year contract. Defensive Tackle
A defensive tackle (DT) is a position in American football that will typically line up on the line of scrimmage, opposite one of the offensive guards, however he may also line up opposite one of the tackles. Defensive tackles are typically the largest and strongest of the defensive players. Depending on a team's individual defensive scheme, a defensive tackle may be called upon to fill several different roles. These roles may include merely holding the point of attack by refusing to be moved, or penetrating a certain gap between offensive linemen to break up a play in the opponent's backfield. If a defensive tackle reads a pass play, his primary responsibility is to pursue the quarterback, or simply knock the pass down at the line if it is within arm's reach. Richard Kevin Sherman (born March 30, 1988) is an American football cornerback who is a free agent. He was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the fifth round of the 2011 NFL Draft. He has been selected to the Pro Bowl five times and voted All-Pro five times, including three times to the first team, and led the NFL in interceptions in 2013, when he also helped the Seahawks win their first Super Bowl. The Legion of Boom (LOB) was the Seattle Seahawks secondary in the early 2010s. The original group that was nicknamed the Legion of Boom consisted of the main starters in the Seahawks defensive backfield (the cornerback and safety positions): Richard Sherman, Earl Thomas, Kam Chancellor, Brandon Browner, Walter Thurmond and Byron Maxwell.
