Brandon Cronenberg
Brandon Cronenberg (born January 10, 1980) is a Canadian director and screenwriter. He is David Cronenberg's son and Caitlin Cronenberg's brother. He is known for his Science fiction film, science fiction horror films ''Antiviral (film), Antiviral'' (2012), ''Possessor (film), Possessor'' (2020) and ''Infinity Pool (film), Infinity Pool'' (2023). He has won several accolades for his work. Early life Cronenberg was born in Toronto, the son of filmmakers David Cronenberg and Carolyn Zeifman, and the brother of photographer Caitlin Cronenberg. He also has a half sister, Cassandra, from his father's first marriage. Cronenberg studied film at Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada. He initially considered himself to be a "book nerd" growing up, who was interested in becoming a writer, painter, or musician. Canal+ (Canal Plus, , meaning 'Channel Plus'; sometimes abbreviated C+ or Canal) is a French premium television channel launched in 1984. The International Critics' Week (french: Semaine de la Critique) was founded in 1962 and is organized by the French Syndicate of Cinema Critics. It was created following the showing of '' The Connection'' directed by Shirley Clarke which had been organized by the French Syndicate of Cinema Critics for the 1961 Cannes Film Festival. Deragh Campbell
Deragh Campbell is a Canadian actress and filmmaker. She is known for her acclaimed performances in independent Canadian cinema. Toronto International Film Festival Award For Best Canadian First Feature Film
The Toronto International Film Festival Award for Best Canadian First Feature Film is an annual film award, presented by the Toronto International Film Festival to a film judged to be the best Canadian feature film made by a first-time director. As of 2017, the award is sponsored by the City of Toronto government and thus known as the "City of Toronto Award for Best Canadian First Feature Film". As with all of TIFF's juried awards, the jury has the discretion to grant one or more honorable mentions in addition to the main award winner.
