Bramberk (german: Bramberg) is a stone observation tower in the municipality of Lučany nad Nisou in the Czech Republic. It is located on the hill Bramberk ( above sea level) in the Jizera Mountains. It is high, with 87 steps to the top. It was built in 1912. Slovanka
Slovanka (german: Seibthübel) is a hill situated 820 m above sea level in the central Jizera Mountains in the area of Lučany nad Nisou, between Královka and Bramberk, in the Czech Republic. There is an observation tower in the settlement, which was built in 1887. It is primarily made from iron and is 14 metres high, with 56 steps to the top. It was rebuilt for 550.000 Kč and reopened on 5 July 2000. Lučany Nad Nisou
Lučany nad Nisou (german: Wiesenthal an der Neiße) is a town in Jablonec nad Nisou District in the Liberec Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 2,000 inhabitants. Administrative parts Villages of Horní Maxov and Jindřichov are administrative parts of Lučany nad Nisou. Geography Lučany nad Nisou is located about northeast of Jablonec nad Nisou. It lies in the Jizera Mountains. The highest point is the mountain Slovanka at above sea level. History The first written mention of Lučany nad Nisou is from 1623. Jizera Mountains
Jizera Mountains ( cz, Jizerské hory), or Izera Mountains ( pl, Góry Izerskie; german: Isergebirge), are part of the Western Sudetes on the border between the Czech Republic and Poland. The range got its name from the Jizera River, which rises at the southern base of the Smrk massif. The beech forests within the Jizera Mountains were added to the UNESCO World Heritage Site known as Ancient and Primeval Beech Forests of the Carpathians and Other Regions of Europe, because of their outstanding preservation and testimony to the ecological history of Europe (and the beech family specifically) since the Last Glacial Period.
