Brahmaputra Valley Film Festival
The 7 Sisters North East International Film Festival which previously called Brahmaputra Valley Film Festival (BVFF) is a film festival hosted in Guwahati, Assam, India annually since the year 2013. Short film contest A short film contest is organised as a part of this film festival. This is essentially to promote talent and stories from the region. The winners of this contest not only get recognition but also a chance to win prize money and opportunities to intern with the premier film production houses of the country. History The inaugural edition of the festival was organized in the year 2013 on 11 & 12 January at Anuradha Cineplex, Guwahati. Renowned filmmakers Dibakar banerjee, Zoya Akhtar, Reema Kagti and Anusha Rizvi graced the festival with their presence. Guwahati (, ; formerly rendered Gauhati, ) is the biggest city of the Indian state of Assam and also the largest metropolis in northeastern India. One Last Question
''One Last Question'' is a short film completed in 2015, directed by Prathamesh Krisang. It is inspired from a true story in 1998 from a blog titled, "Agia to Oxford" by Manjit Nath. The film takes the viewer back to the Indian state of Assam in 1998. It is basically a memoir of a person who had been on the verge of abandoning education and taking up arms against the state, but who was then counseled by his father, which set him on the right and, hence, a better direction. The pivotal character of Tultul’s father in the film has been played by the eminent actor, Adil Hussain. Written and directed by Prathamesh Krisang. Starring Adil Hussain as 'Deuta', which means 'father, the 30 minute film revolves around a 15-year-old boy named Tultul and his three friends. Vandana Katariya (born 15 April 1992) is an Indian field hockey player. She plays as a forward in the Indian national team.
