The Bradford League was a football competition based in England. It sat at level 14 of the English football league system. The league was a feeder to the West Riding County Amateur Football League – in 2006 Dudley Hill Athletic made the step up to the higher level. It was sponsored by the local newspaper the ''Telegraph and Argus'' and was known as the T&A League. Bradford Cricket League
The Bradford Premier League (currently known as the Gordon Rigg Bradford Premier League for sponsorship reasons) is an amateur cricket competition centred in Bradford, West Yorkshire. It has been described as "arguably England's strongest amateur competition." This is despite most people being aware that top clubs have player wage bills in the 5 figure brackets. The league is structured into four divisions. Many teams are from Bradford, with others from neighbouring towns and cities across West Yorkshire. The league was renamed the Bradford Premier League in 2016, upon the merger of the Bradford Cricket League and the Central Yorkshire Cricket League, and since 2016 it has been a designated ECB Premier League. The English football league system, also known as the football pyramid, is a series of interconnected leagues for men's association football clubs in England, with five teams from Wales, one from Guernsey, one from Jersey and one from the Isle of Man also competing. The West Riding County Amateur Football League was a football competition based in Yorkshire, England. Formed in 1922, it had one division when it closed in 2019 due to a lack of participating clubs. The Premier Division sat at level 11 of the English football league system. Silsden, Brighouse Town, Hemsworth Miners Welfare, Campion and Steeton were the most recent teams to move up from the league. History Grattan catalogues was founded in 1912 by John Enrico Fattorini, in Bradford, West Yorkshire after he fell out with his cousin while working at Empire Stores. The company was purchased by Next plc for 300 million pounds in 1986, a deal which saw Next outbid future Grattan owners Otto Versand.
