Brad Case
Brad Case (June 24, 1912 – March 19, 2006) was an animator and sequence director. He has also worked as a layout artist, storyboard artist, and a story director. His collaborative partners in animation include Ub Iwerks, Raphael Wolff, Paul Fennell and Larry Harmon. He was born Arthur Bradford Case to Arthur James Case and Clara T. Skelly in Los Angeles. Case attended Lincoln High School, where he was on the staff of ''The Lincolnian'' along with future animation writer Cal Howard and was elected student body president in 1931. At age 20 in 1932, he was employed by his father as a papermaker at the Los Angeles Paper Manufacturing Company. He was married that year to Dorothy Faye Sullivan. He began his career as an animator in ''Bambi''. His first recorded screen credit was for the 1944 Donald Duck short ''The Plastics Inventor''. Ub Iwerks
Ubbe Ert Iwwerks (March 24, 1901 – July 7, 1971), known as Ub Iwerks ( ), was an American animator, cartoonist, character designer, inventor, and special effects technician. Born in Kansas City, Missouri, Iwerks grew up with a contentious relationship with his father, who abandoned him as a child. Iwerks met fellow artist Walt Disney while working at a Kansas City art studio in 1919. After briefly working as illustrators for a local newspaper company, Disney and Iwerks ventured into animation together. Iwerks joined Disney as chief animator on the Laugh-O-Gram shorts series beginning in 1922, but a studio bankruptcy would cause Disney to relocate to Los Angeles in 1923. In the new studio, Iwerks continued to work with Disney on the Alice Comedies as well as the creation of the Oswald the Lucky Rabbit character. Hanna-Barbera Cartoons, Inc. ( ) was an American animation studio and production company which was active from 1957 to 2001. It was founded on July 7, 1957, by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera following the decision of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer to close its in-house cartoon studio. Dale Case (born May 15, 1938) is an American animator and film director. Life and career Case was born in Los Angeles, California in 1938. His father, Brad, was an animator who worked at Disney, MGM, Hanna-Barbera, and Warner Bros. Case graduated from the Chouinard Art Institute, and his earliest credits came in the 1960s from ''King Leonardo and His Short Subjects'' and ''The Beatles'' TV series. He was one of the animators for the title sequence of 1963's ''The Pink Panther'', and later worked on a number of ''Pink Panther'' shorts at DePatie–Freleng Enterprises. He was an animator on the 1975 ''The 2000 Year Old Man'' half-hour special by Mel Brooks and Carl Reiner.
