Dale Case
Dale Case (born May 15, 1938) is an American animator and film director. Life and career Case was born in Los Angeles, California in 1938. His father, Brad, was an animator who worked at Disney, MGM, Hanna-Barbera, and Warner Bros. Case graduated from the Chouinard Art Institute, and his earliest credits came in the 1960s from ''King Leonardo and His Short Subjects'' and ''The Beatles'' TV series. He was one of the animators for the title sequence of 1963's ''The Pink Panther'', and later worked on a number of ''Pink Panther'' shorts at DePatie–Freleng Enterprises. He was an animator on the 1975 ''The 2000 Year Old Man'' half-hour special by Mel Brooks and Carl Reiner. In the 1980s and 1990s, Case worked overseas at Walt Disney Television Animation Australia, supervising animation on shows such as '' Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers'' and the Emmy Award-winning''The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh'', and films such as '' DuckTales the Movie: Treasure of the Lost Lamp'' and the ' ...

The Daytime Emmy Awards, or Daytime Emmys, are part of the extensive range of Emmy Awards for artistic and technical merit for the American television industry. The Chicago International Film Festival is an annual film festival held every fall. Founded in 1964 by Michael Kutza, it is the longest-running competitive film festival in North America. ''The Further Adventures of Uncle Sam'' is a 1970 animated short film by Dale Case and Robert Mitchell. Plot Uncle Sam and his friend the American Eagle live peacefully in the American southwest, running a gas station. But when Sam is kidnapped by men with money bags for heads, the Eagle goes off to rescue him. When Sam is rescued, he tells the Eagle that there is a plot to capture the Statue of Liberty by a bomb-headed businessman. Accolades ''The Further Adventures of Uncle Sam'' was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film. The Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film is an award given by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) as part of the annual Academy Awards, or Oscars, since the 5th Academy Awards (with different names), covering the year 1931–32, to the present. From 1932 until 1970, the category was known as Short Subjects, Cartoons; and from 1971 to 1973 as Short Subjects, Animated Films. The present title began with the 46th Awards in 1974.
