Brackley-Hunter River
Brackley-Hunter River is a provincial electoral district for the Legislative Assembly of Prince Edward Island, Canada. It was created prior to the 2019 election from parts of the former districts West Royalty-Springvale and York-Oyster Bed. The riding consists of rural communities north and north-west of Charlottetown, including Hunter River, Oyster Bed Bridge, and Warren Grove. Dennis "Denny" King (born November 1, 1971) is the 33rd and current premier of Prince Edward Island since 2019 and current leader of the Progressive Conservative Party of Prince Edward Island. Early life Born in Georgetown, Prince Edward Island, King worked in many Prince Edward Island media outlets for years, including the ''Eastern Graphic'', ''The Guardian'' and CFCY-FM. Queens County is a county in the province of Prince Edward Island, Canada. It is the largest county in the province by population with 89,770 (2021) and land. Charlottetown is the county seat of Queens County, and is the largest city and the capital of Prince Edward Island. The county is located in the centre of Prince Edward Island, and the geography varies from relatively flat plains to rolling hills in the central interior lands known as the Bonshaw Hills. Charlottetown
Charlottetown is the capital and largest city of the Canadian province of Prince Edward Island, and the county seat of Queens County. Named after Queen Charlotte, Charlottetown was an unincorporated town until it was incorporated as a city in 1855. It was the site of the famous Charlottetown Conference in 1864, the first gathering of Canadian and Maritime statesmen to discuss the proposed Maritime Union.
