Boyband PH
BoybandPH (also known as BPH) is a Filipino boy band composed of Neil Murillo, Russell Reyes, Ford Valencia, Tristan Ramirez, and Joao Constancia. The group was formed on December 11, 2016 after winning ABS-CBN's reality show '' Pinoy Boyband Superstar'', a franchise of Simon Cowell's singing competition ''La Banda''. After winning ''Pinoy Boyband Superstar'', the group released its first single on January 1, 2017, entitled "Unli". It was followed by a second single, a cover of Depeche Mode's "Somebody" on February 14, 2017. The boys released their debut, self-titled album on February 4, 2017, under Star Music. On April 2, 2017, BoybandPH was awarded the Gold Record Award, with the album reaching over 7,500 copies sold in less than two months. The group is managed by Star Magic with a recording contract with Star Music. It is currently a mainstay act on '' ASAP'', a noontime variety television show in the Philippines. "Blasphemous Rumours"/"Somebody" is Depeche Mode's twelfth UK single and first double A-side single, released on 29 October 1984. Both A-side songs are from the album ''Some Great Reward''. Song information Blasphemous Rumours The verses to "Blasphemous Rumours" describe a 16-year-old girl who attempts suicide but fails. She experiences a religious revival but then "Hit by a car / Ended up / On a life support machine" (from the lyrics). The chorus uses these incidents to conclude, "I don't want to start any blasphemous rumours / But I think that God's got a sick sense of humour / And when I die, I expect to find him laughing." Like other songs on ''Some Great Reward'', the song uses a dense sound with extensive sampled percussion. Major Lazer is an American electronic dance music DJ trio, which includes record producer Diplo, and DJs Walshy Fire and Ape Drums. It originates from Kingston, Jamaica, and was founded in 2008 by Diplo and Switch, with Switch leaving after three years in 2011. He was then replaced by both Jillionaire and Walshy Fire.
