Bobby Bounds
Bobby Bounds (born January 13, 1969) is a former American football quarterback who played two seasons with the Cleveland Thunderbolts of the Arena Football League (AFL). He played college football at Texas A&M University-Commerce, which was then known as East Texas State University, where he was an All-American quarterback and one of the best passers in the history of Lion football and the Lone Star Conference. He was also a member of the Benicarlo Tifons of the Professional Football League and Shreveport Pirates of the Canadian Football League (CFL). Early years Bounds was born in Mesquite, Texas moved to Picayune Mississippi at an early age and was a standout quarterback at Picayune Memorial High School, in the western part of Mississippi. Dallen Bounds
Dallen Forrest Bounds (August 9, 1971 – December 23, 1999) was an American serial killer. After killing two acquaintances, he barricaded himself with two women and ultimately committed suicide. Law enforcement officers have closed four murders in the Greenville and Pickens counties of South Carolina, and officials in the state of Washington suspect he was involved in several other murders. Murders * June 26, 1999 – Radio Shack employee Jonathan Lemuel Lara was restrained with flex ties to a chair in the back room of a Radio Shack in Greenville, South Carolina. Lara was stabbed in the neck with a screwdriver and subsequently died. Casandra Laster, Bounds' accomplice, was found guilty of accessory after the fact to felony murder in 2001. Laster appealed her sentence of 15 years but her appeal was dismissed in 2003 by the South Carolina Court of Appeals. Jon Bounds (born 30 June 1975), is a writer and blogger from Birmingham, England. Raised in the City's Perry Barr district, he attended King Edward VI Aston, King Edward VI Grammar School, Aston. After working as a technical and commissioning editor for friends of ED,Bounds' LinkedIn profile he spent nearly four years working for the BBC as technical co-ordinator of the Public Space at BBC Birmingham, and studied Computer Science at the University of Birmingham. Mark Bounds
Mark Bounds is a former American football punter. He played at the collegiate level for Texas Tech, where he earned unanimous All-American honors in 1991. Career Bounds began his career at NCAA Division II West Texas State (now West Texas A&M University) where he earned All-American honors in 1990. He led Division II punters with a 46.3 yard average. Bounds transferred to Texas Tech University in the following year following the cessation of West Texas State's football program. Following the 1991 season, Bounds led NCAA Division I in punting average with 48.6 yards per punt. For his performance, Bounds was selected as a Unanimous All-American by the 5 organizations recognized for the purpose by the NCAA, one of only five Red Raiders to do so. Philip Bounds was a Marxist historian, journalist and critic. He held a PhD in Politics from the University of Wales and wrote a number of books, including ''Orwell and Marxism'' and ''British Communism and the Politics of Literature, 1928–1939''. Work Much of Bounds's work was concerned with the intellectual history of the British Left. His book on George Orwell advanced the controversial argument that Orwell's literary and cultural criticism was deeply influenced by the work of British communists. The book was praised for its originality by leading Orwell scholars such as Peter Davison, John Newsinger and Jean-Jacques Rosat. Sydney James Bounds
Sydney James Bounds (4 November 1920 – 24 November 2006) was a British author. He wrote as Sydney J. Bounds and S. J. Bounds, as well as under the pen names Clifford Wallace, James Marshall, Earl Ellison and Rex Marlowe. He wrote over forty novels and hundreds of short stories, many published under pseudonyms or anonymously. He was best known for his science fiction, but also wrote horror, Westerns, mysteries and juveniles. Bounds' debut professional sale under his own name appears in 1946 in the first issue of Outlands magazine, the publication of which left Bounds feeling that his post-war career as an electrical fitter seemed less inviting than one writing fiction. Bounds never married. He lived in Kingston upon Thames until May 2006, when he moved to Telford, Shropshire where died on 25 November 2006 at the age of 86. Tucker Bounds (born January 13, 1979) is a public relations professional, who has been active in Republican politics. He served as a spokesperson for the McCain 2008 presidential campaign.
