Boulevard De La Cité-des-Jeunes
Boulevard de la Cité-des-Jeunes is a major road in the city of Gatineau, Quebec. It begins on the northwestern outskirts of the city, where Chemin de la Mine becomes Boulevard de la Cité-des-Jeunes, and runs mainly to the southeast, along the eastern boundary of Gatineau Park. The Boulevard later becomes Promenade du Lac des Fees after meeting with Boulevard Saint-Raymond near the hospital. From the south end and travelling in the other direction, the roadway begins at Boulevard Saint-Joseph as two one-way streets (Duquesne and Graham), becomes Promenade du Lac des Fees followed by Boulevard de la Cité-des-Jeunes and chemin de la Mine, which ends at Chemin Notch inside Gatineau Park. There is a French-language high school (École secondaire (Secondary School) Mont-Bleu - previously known as Polyvalente Mont-Bleu) and two CEGEPs ( Heritage College and CEGEP de l'Outaouais) all within short distances of each other. Gatineau ( ; ) is a city in western Quebec, Canada. It is located on the northern bank of the Ottawa River, immediately across from Ottawa, Ontario. Heritage College (Gatineau)
Heritage College is a public English-language college located on Cité des Jeunes Boulevard in Gatineau, Quebec, Canada. It is the only English-language college in western Quebec. History What began as an offshoot of the much larger Collège de l'Outaouais, with an initial enrollment of 7 students, evolved into an official campus and eventually a college. With an ever-increasing population and a few stays in renovated buildings (including a bowling alley and a couple of French high schools), it finally achieved fully autonomous status in 1988 as Heritage College. Boulevard Saint-Joseph (Gatineau)
Boulevard Saint-Joseph is a commercial boulevard in the former city of Hull (now in Gatineau), Quebec. It runs from Boulevard Alexandre-Taché to the boundaries of the Gatineau and the suburban town of Chelsea. Southern section The road, also known as Route 105, which travels all the way to Route 117 in Grand-Remous, north of Maniwaki, travels through a commercial district. Numerous types of businesses are along the road. Most of them are small independent companies by local entrepreneurs for the ''Association professionnelle des gens d'affaires de Hull''. However, in recent years, their number dropped because of the development of the Plateau de la Capitale commercial district in which big-box stores have been built and because of the booming residential development in the area, which drove away many customers from the Saint Joseph commercial strip.
