Bouchra Chaâbi
Bouchra Chaabi (born 22 September 1980 in Bougargouh) is a Moroccan long-distance runner who specializes in the 3000 metres steeplechase. She made her Olympic debut at the 2000 Sydney Olympics, running in the 10,000 metres. That year she had been the bronze medallist in the event at the 2000 African Championships in Athletics. She made the top twenty in the short race at every IAAF World Cross Country Championships from 2002 to 2006. Athletics At The 2005 Jeux De La Francophonie
At the 2005 Jeux de la Francophonie, the athletics events were held at the Stade Général Seyni Kountché in Niamey, Niger, from 11–16 December 2005. A total of 43 events were contested, of which 23 by male and 20 by female athletes. France sent the largest squad and topped the medal table with 19 gold medals and 39 medals in total. Morocco was the next most successful nation, having won 11 golds and 31 medals altogether. This was large as a result of their middle- and long-distance running dominance which saw them take all three medals in four events, as well as three separate Moroccan 1–2 finishes. Mónica Rosa
Mónica Rosa (born 5 May 1978 in Torres Vedras) is a Portuguese runner who specializes in the longer track distances as well as cross-country running and half marathon. At the 2001 World Championships in Athletics she ran for Portugal in the 5000 metres but did not make the final. She was the 2002 winner of the Cross Internacional de Itálica. She suffered a serious injury in early 2006 and her future as an elite performer seemed in doubt. However, she came back strongly and won the 2007 Oeiras International Cross Country, beating reigning Portuguese champion Jessica Augusto to the finish line. She and Augusto led the Portuguese women to the team bronze medal at the 2007 European Cross Country Championships later that year. She made her debut over the marathon at the 2010 Paris Marathon and completed the race in a time of 2:37:09.
