Boubakary Soumaré
Boubakary Soumaré (born 27 February 1999) is a French professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Premier League club Leicester City. He is a former France youth international. Club career Early career In his early footballing years, Soumaré was a young player at Paris FC. He stayed at the club from 2006 to 2011, before joining the Paris Saint-Germain Academy. At PSG, he was selected for eight appearances for the B team of the club in 2017, and left later that year. Lille On 7 July 2017, Soumaré signed for Lille on a three-year contract. His professional debut began with a 3–0 Ligue 1 win over Metz on 5 November 2017. At the end of the 2017–18 season, Lille managed to stay in the Ligue 1, meaning that Soumaré's contract was extended by two years, as his deal entailed such an option. France National Under-20 Football Team
The France national under-20 football team () represents France in men's international football at this age level and is controlled by the French Football Federation. Since there is no under-20 UEFA tournament, the team competes for the FIFA U-20 World Cup. The under-20 team also participates in the Toulon Tournament, usually replacing the under-21 team, and in the football tournaments of the Mediterranean Games and the Jeux de la Francophonie. France were the world champions, winning the 2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup. 2020–21 Lille OSC Season
The 2020–21 season was the 77th season in the existence of Lille OSC and the club's 21st consecutive season in the top flight of French football. In addition to the domestic league, Lille participated in this season's edition of the Coupe de France and the UEFA Europa League. The season covered the period from 1 July 2020 to 30 June 2021. On 23 May 2021, with a win over Angers on the final day of the season, Lille were crowned league champions. The league serves as the fourth tier of the French football league system behind Ligue 1, Ligue 2, and the Championnat National.
