Bossemptélé is a sub-prefecture of Ouham-Pendé in the Central African Republic. Geography Bossemptélé is on the RN3 road northwest of Bangui and south of Bozoum, bordering the prefectures of Ombella-M'Poko and Nana-Mambéré. is at the crossroads of the RN3 on the Bangui – Garoua-Boulaï axis, part of the Douala Bangui Corridor and the RR6 regional road connecting Bozoum. Administration The municipality of Binon is the only commune of the sub-prefecture. In 2003, it had 18,024 inhabitants. However, some church leaders have contested the claimed exclusively Christian character of such groups. Ouham-Pendé
Ouham-Pendé is one of the 16 prefectures of the Central African Republic. Its capital is Bozoum. The region contains several ghost towns such as Goroumo, Beogombo Deux and Paoua due to government forces ransacking them and armed bandits killing all the male inhabitants over the years from 2005 to 2008. In the north it has a border with Cameroon and Chad.
