The Bosnia and Herzegovina men's national basketball team ( Bosnian: ''Košarkaška reprezentacija Bosne i Hercegovine'' / Кошаркашка репрезентација Босне и Херцеговине) represents Bosnia and Herzegovina in international basketball competitions, and is governed by the Basketball Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Until 1992, Bosnian basketballers played for Yugoslavia. Bosnia and Herzegovina reached their first international tournament at the EuroBasket in 1993. They have competed nine times at the event overall. The team has yet to qualify on the global level to play at the FIBA World Cup. ''Lilium bosniacum'' is a lily native to Bosnia and Herzegovina. It's also known as ''Zlatni Ljiljan'' ( Bosnian for golden lily) and ''Bosanski Ljiljan'' (Bosnian lily). ''L. bosniacum'' has often been lumped and split and lumped again. Some results of molecular studies support it as an infraspecific taxon of ''Lilium carniolicum''. ''Lilium bosniacum'', together with ''Lilium albanicum'' and '' Lilium jankae'' have been treated as varieties of '' Lilium carniolicum''. Basketball at the Summer Olympics has been a sport for men consistently since 1936. Prior to its inclusion as a medal sport, basketball was held as a demonstration event in 1904. Women's basketball made its debut in the Summer Olympics in 1976. FIBA organizes both the men's and women's FIBA World Olympic Qualifying Tournaments and the Summer Olympics basketball tournaments, which are sanctioned by the IOC. The Sweden men's national basketball team ( sv, svenska basketslandslaget) represents Sweden in international basketball competition. FIBA EuroBasket 1993 Qualification
Qualification for the 1993 FIBA European Championship, commonly called FIBA EuroBasket 1993 took place between 1 May 1991 and 7 June 1993. A total of thirteen teams qualified for the tournament, joining Italy, Spain and France ranked second, third and fourth in the 1991 edition. Dragiša Vučinić ( sr-cyr, Драгиша Вучинић; born 4 April 1948) is a Serbian former professional basketball player and coach who spent major part of his career with Crvena zvezda. Playing career Vučinić grew up playing basketball for his hometown team KK Lokomotiva Mostar. In 1967, he left the club joining Belgrade-based team Crvena zvezda. Milan "Musa" Bjegojević ( sr-cyr, Милан "Муса" Bjegojević; August 9, 1928 – October 2, 2003) was a Serbian basketball player and coach. Ratko "Raša" Radovanović (; born 16 October 1956) is a Serbian former professional basketball player who competed for SFR Yugoslavia, at the 1980 Summer Olympics, and at the 1984 Summer Olympics. Zoran Savić ( sr-Cyrl, Зоран Савић; born November 18, 1966) is a Serbian professional basketball executive and former professional player who is currently the sports director for Partizan Belgrade of the Serbian KLS, the Adriatic League and the EuroLeague.
