Zoran Savić
Zoran Savić ( sr-Cyrl, Зоран Савић; born November 18, 1966) is a Serbian professional basketball executive and former professional player who is currently the sports director for Partizan Belgrade of the Serbian KLS, the Adriatic League and the EuroLeague. The tall center played in various European countries throughout his career. Professional career Savić made first career steps as a basketball player with Čelik in the First League of Yugoslavia. In 1990 and 1991, he played with Jugoplastika in Split, winning the Triple crown (both the Yugoslav league title, the Yugoslav Cup and the FIBA European Champions Cup (now known as the EuroLeague), in each of those two years. In 1991, he left Yugoslavia and Pop 84, and signed with FC Barcelona, where he spent a couple of seasons with them playing in Spain's Liga ACB. 1990 FIBA World Championship
The 1990 FIBA World Championship was the 11th FIBA World Championship, the international basketball world championship for men's teams. It was hosted by Argentina from 8 to 19 August 1990. The final phase of the competition was held at the Luna Park, Buenos Aires. Yugoslavia emerged as the tournament winner. This was the last World Championship in which the country participated before its dissolution. Likewise, the Soviet Union participated in its final tournament before its dissolution. This was the first ever FIBA World Championship (now called FIBA Basketball World Cup) tournament, in which non-American current NBA players that had also already played in an official regular season NBA game could participate. The Yugoslav Basketball Cup ( sh, Kup Jugoslavije u košarci / ) was the men's national basketball cup of Yugoslavia between its inauguration 1959 and 2002. Yugoslav Basketball League
The First Federal Basketball League () was the highest tier level men's professional club basketball competition in SFR Yugoslavia. Founded in 1945 and folded in 1992 (1991-92 Winer Broker YUBA League), it was run by the Basketball Federation of Yugoslavia. With a total of 16 European-wide trophy winners and 11 finalists, the Yugoslav First Basketball League was one of the strongest European national domestic basketball leagues of all time. The Lega Basket Serie A (LBA) is a professional men's club basketball league that has been organised in Italy since 1920.
