Borzoy
Borzoy (russian: Борзо́й; ce, Борзе, ''Borze'') is a rural locality (a '' selo'') in Shatoysky District of the Chechen Republic, Russia,Decree #500 located on the left bank of the Argun River. As of the 2010 Census, its population was 4,063. In 1944, after the forced deportation of the Chechen and Ingush populations, Borzoy was renamed Alpiyskoye ()Patiyev, p. 135 and settled by migrants from neighboring Dagestan. The classification system of inhabited localities in Russia and some other post-Soviet states has certain peculiarities compared with those in other countries. Classes During the Soviet time, each of the republics of the Soviet Union, including the Russian SFSR, had its own legislative documents dealing with classification of inhabited localities.
