Nathan Bor
Nathan "Nat" Bor (March 1, 1913 – June 13, 1972) was an American boxer who won a light weight bronze medal at the 1932 Summer Olympics. He continued primarily a professional welterweight boxing career until around 1940, when he served as a Marine in WWII, before returning to start a dry cleaning business in his home of Fall River, Massachusetts. Personal Bor was Jewish, and of Russian heritage. He was born in Fall River, Massachusetts on March 1, 1913. Amateur career As an amateur, Bor won 90 of 95 bouts, taking both the New England and then the National lightweight championships. During his amateur career, he sidelined as a telephone operator in his home of Fall River. As the 1932 United States Amateur Lightweight Champion, he was sent to the Los Angeles Olympics and received the Olympic bronze medal in the lightweight class after winning the third place fight against Mario Bianchini on August 13. Li Yiu-bor, OBE, JP (22 October 1909 – 6 September 1976) was a Hong Kong teacher, publisher, politician and religious leader. Biography Li was born on 22 October 1909 and was educated at the Wah Yan College. He became a teacher at the school in November 1930 and was transferred to the Kowloon branch in April 1931 until his retirement in August 1963. After that, he started the publishing house, Modern Education Research Society Ltd. He was member of the Hong Kong Teachers' Association and its Chairman. He represented the Hong Kong Civic Association, a political organisation closely tied to the Teachers' Association in the 1956 Urban Council election. He won a seat for the Civic Association and continued to serve until he stepped down in 1969. Bor-ming Jahn
Bor-ming Jahn (; 24 August 1940 – 1 December 2016) was a Taiwanese-French geochemist. Born in Miaoli on 24 August 1940, Jahn graduated from Hsinchu Senior High School and attended National Taiwan University, where, in 1963, he earned a bachelor's degree in geology. He obtained a master's degree in geochemistry from Brown University in 1967, and completed a doctorate at the University of Minnesota in 1972. After postdoctoral work and further research at NASA and the Lunar Science Institute, Jahn moved to France and joined the University of Rennes I faculty in 1976. Jahn acquired French nationality in May 1980. In 2003, he returned to Taiwan, serving as distinguished research fellow affiliated with the Institute of Earth Sciences, Academia Sinica from August 2004 to 2010. He left Academia Sinica to take an appointment at NTU, as distinguished chair professor of the department of geosciences. He has a BSc in Electrical Engineering from the Technical University in Kiev (1973), an MSc in physics (1974), and PhD in Physics from JATE University (1975). Stevan Živadinović (20 November 1908 – 6 May 1993), known by his pen name Vane Bor, was a Serbian artist active in the Surrealist movement. He produced various collages, photograms and photographs, as well as theoretical texts and poems. He is best known for his books "Vane Bor i Marko Ristić" and "Anti-zid" which influenced many writers, including Aleksandar Vučo, Marko Ristić, Rastko Petrović, Oskar Davičo, and others.
