Boolfight
Boolfight is an indie electro-pop band from Paris, France, best known for their album ''Feral'' released in 2012 on Montmorency Records, and their ''Multiple Devils'' EP released in 2010 on the same label. Boolfight supported the vinyl release of the ''Multiple Devils'' EP with a string of shows in Europe in 2010. Before 2010, Boolfight had released an album in 2008, ''From Zero To One'', and a self-titled EP, produced in 2005 by Dave Tweedie and Stephen Bradley (No Doubt). In 2011, Boolfight released ''Loose Cannons & B-Sides'', a collection of b-sides. Dave Tweedie
David Russell Tweedie (born November 27, 1968, in Richmond, California) is an American composer, multi-instrumentalist and record producer. Tweedie’s compositions have appeared on Fox’s '' So You Think You Can Dance'', ''The Bernie Mac Show'', and others. Early life Tweedie's father was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and grew up in Glasgow, Scotland before moving to Richmond in 1960. His mother is from Richmond, California. He has one older sister. Living in the small, working-middle class town of Crockett, California, Tweedie grew up with Billie Joe Armstrong and Mike Dirnt of the rock band Green Day, as well as Scott Holderby of pioneering heavy funk metal band Mordred. Dream pop (also typeset as dreampop) is a subgenre of alternative rock and neo-psychedelia that emphasizes atmosphere and sonic texture as much as pop melody. Indie rock is a Music subgenre, subgenre of rock music that originated in the United States, United Kingdom and New Zealand from the 1970s to the 1980s. No Doubt is an American rock band from Anaheim, California, formed in 1986. For most of their career, the band has consisted of vocalist Gwen Stefani, guitarist Tom Dumont, bassist Tony Kanal, and drummer Adrian Young. M83 are a French electronic music group formed in Antibes in 1999 and currently based in Los Angeles. Initially a duo of multi-instrumentalists Nicolas Fromageau and Anthony Gonzalez, Fromageau parted ways shortly after touring for their second album ''Dead Cities, Red Seas & Lost Ghosts''. Gonzalez remains the sole constant member of the project, serving as the primary songwriter and lead vocalist.
