Bons Baisers De Hong Kong
''Bons Baisers de Hong Kong'' (also known as ''From Hong Kong with Love'') is a 1975 French spy comedy film directed by Yvan Chiffre. It is a parody and spin-off of the ''James Bond'' film series starring Les Charlots, with Mickey Rooney portraying the antagonist. Bernard Lee and Lois Maxwell make cameos in their roles as M and Miss Moneypenny (though the characters remain unnamed). Part of the picture was filmed at the Shaw Brothers studios in Hong Kong. Besides the James Bond series, the film also parodies Hong Kong martial arts films. Synopsis The film starts with James Bond being shot and killed during in a parody of the James Bond gun barrel sequence. Queen Elizabeth II (Huguette Funfrock) is then kidnapped by a wealthy American megalomaniac (Mickey Rooney). Since their best agent is dead, the British secret services ask for help from their French counterparts, the SDECE. Gérard Filippelli (14 December 1942 Paris – 30 March 2021 Argenteuil) was a French actor, composer, and singer. Biography In 1964, Filippelli bought an amp from an American soldier in Châteauroux for 500 francs. In 1966, he performed at the Cinéma REX and befriended Jean Sarrus and Gérard Rinaldi. He became sound manager in their group. They formed the acting and singing group Les Charlots, where he stayed until 1997. In 1970, his wife died in an automobile accident. Gérard Rinaldi (February 17, 1943 – March 2, 2012) was a French actor, musician, lyricist, artistic director and singer with Les Charlots. Career Death Rinaldi died of lymphoma on March 2, 2012. He was 69. A few days later, holding back his tears Jean Sarrus (Les Charlots) paid homage to his friend and had this to say about him : "Gérard was the soul of Les Charlots. He excelled in everything he did : he had this wonderful singing voice, but mostly as a writer, that's what he liked to do above everything else : writing songs.
