Bonobostudio
Bonobostudio is an animation production and Distribution (marketing), distribution company headquartered in Zagreb, Croatia. History It was founded by Vanja Andrijević in 2008, who previously worked at the now defunct Kenges Animation/VFX studio as a distributor. The newly founded Bonobostudio continued to develop shorts from the previous company, and released its first film in 2010, Arheo 29 by veteran experimental film-maker and artist Ladislav Knežević. Since then, the company produced a host of award-winning animated shorts such as Imbued Life (Ivana Bošnjak, Thomas Johnson, 2019), Hedgehog's Home (Eva Cvijanović, 2017), Nighthawk (Špela Čadež, 2016), Planemo (Veljko Popović, 2016) and The Sleepwalker (2015 film), Sonámbulo (Theodore Ushev, 2015). ''Hedgehog's Home'' is a Canadian-Croatian short stop-motion animated film, directed by Bosnian Croat Eva Cvijanović and released in 2017. Based on a short children's story by Bosnian-Serbian- Yugoslavian writer Branko Ćopić, the film's character is a hedgehog defending his home from a fox, a bear, a wolf and a wild boar. It is a co-production between Bonobostudio of Croatia and the National Film Board of Canada. The film is narrated by Kenneth Welsh in English, France Castel in French and Rade Šerbedžija in Serbo-Croatian. The International Animated Film Association (French: ''Association Internationale du Film d'Animation'', ASIFA) is an international non-profit organization founded in 1960 in Annecy, France, by the best known animation artists of the time such as the Canadian animator, Norman McLaren. Špela Čadež
Špela Čadež (born in Ljubljana) is a Slovenian director and film producer of animated films. She is mostly known for her use of the multiplane camera technique in her animated films. Career After graduating in visual communication design (2002) in Ljubljana, she continued her studies at the Academy of Media Arts in Cologne. She specialises in analog animation; multiplane and puppet animation. In Cologne she made the films "Zasukanec" and "Lovesick". Her animated films have been awarded over 100 prizes. Špela Čadež has been working in Slovenia as an animation film director and producer since 2008. She became a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in 2017. Theodore Ushev
Theodore Asenov Ushev ( bg, Теодор Асенов Ушев; born 4 February 1968) is a Bulgarian animator, film director and screenwriter based in Montreal. He is best known for his work at the National Film Board of Canada, including the 2016 animated short '' Blind Vaysha'', which was nominated for an Academy Award. He is a Chevalier of the ''Ordre des Arts et des Lettres'' of France.
