Ernest Edward "Tiny" Bonham (August 16, 1913 – September 15, 1949) was an American professional baseball pitcher in Major League Baseball (MLB). From 1940 to 1949, he played for the New York Yankees (1940–1946) and Pittsburgh Pirates (1947–1949). Bonham, who batted and threw right-handed, won 21 games for the Yankees in 1942. Milledge Luke Bonham (December 25, 1813August 27, 1890) was an American politician and Congressman. He was later the 70th Governor of South Carolina from 1862 until 1864, and a Confederate General during the American Civil War. Early life and career Milledge L. Mildred A. Bonham (, Baker; pen name, Mizpah; August 6, 1840 – July 28, 1907) was a 19th-century American travel writer from Illinois. In 1858, she married Judge Benjamin F. Bonham, later removing to Calcutta where her descriptions in the letters she wrote to the ''Oregon Statesman'' were eagerly read and highly commended.
