Bong Town
Bong Town (also known as Bong Mine Community or just Bong) is a populated place in the Bong County of Liberia. The Bong Mining Company was founded by Thyssen (Germany). From its establishment in 1958 through the late 1980s, the Bong Mining Company (BMC), a German-Italian-owned Contractual rights, concession in Liberia built a substantial mining complex to surface mining, surface mine the iron ore of the mountain range just on the north side of the Margibi/Bong county borderline. Notably, the company constructed and maintained one of Liberia's main rail lines to the remote site to ship the iron ore from the mountains. The town has one government secondary school. Bong County
Bong is a county in the north-central portion of the West African nation of Liberia. One of 15 counties that comprise the first-level of administrative division in the nation, it has twelve districts. Gbarnga serves as the capital. The area of the county measures . A bong (also known as a water pipe) is a filtration device generally used for smoking cannabis, tobacco, or other herbal substances. Kakata
Kakata (pronounced ''Kak-ah-tah''), is the capital city of Liberia's Margibi County and is located in Kakata District just over the Du River bridge which is its border with Todee District. It is a transit town at the heart of the historical natural rubber cultivation belt in Liberia. The city is colloquially known as "Kak City". Freeport Of Monrovia
The Freeport of Monrovia is the main commercial port facility in the West African nation of Liberia. It was artificially created on Bushrod Island near Monrovia in 1948. The facility contains four piers and one main wharf with four berths. The port also has tanker facilities and a fishery pier. The National Port Authority operates it.
