English is a West Germanic language of the Indo-European language family, with its earliest forms spoken by the inhabitants of early medieval England. Swiss German

Alice Boner
Alice Boner (22 July 1889 – 13 April 1981) was a Swiss painter and sculptor, art historian, and an Indologist. In her drawings she used pencil, charcoal, sepia, red chalk, ink, and sometimes pastel. Her early works focused on drawings, sculptures, portrait, full body studies, landscapes and nature observations. The artist also harbored a great fascination for the art of dance and created motion studies of the three dancers Lilly, Jeanne, and Leonie Brown as well as the Indian dancer Uday Shankar. Her sketches were spontaneous, a series of observations, that are usually performed only with a few quick strokes, and are focused on the essential characteristics of the body. The collection of the Rietberg Museum houses a variety of sculptures and statues of Alice Boner from her youth. Bill Boner
William Hill Boner (born February 14, 1945) is an American educator and former Democratic politician from Tennessee. He was the third mayor of the Metropolitan government of Nashville and Davidson County, serving from 1987 to 1991. He served in the U.S. House of Representatives, as the Representative from the 5th District of Tennessee, from 1979 to 1988. Brian Boner
Brian Boner (born December 10, 1984) is an American politician and a Republican member of the Wyoming State Senate, representing the 2nd district since March 19, 2015. Elections 2014 Incumbent Republican State Senator Jim Anderson resigned on March 3, 2015, after moving out of state. Boner was one of three names submitted to both Platte and Converse County Commissions, along with Republicans Timothy Millikin and Kerry Powers. He received 85.3% of the vote to finish Anderson's term. 2016 Boner ran for a full term, and defeated Darek Farmer in the Republican primary. Farmer had been a candidate for the U.S. House seat being vacated by Cynthia Lummis. Boner defeated Democrat Bill Cullen with 86% of the vote. 2020 Boner ran for a second full term and third overall. Charles Boner
Charles Boner (1815–1870) was an English travel writer, poet and translator. Life He was the second child and only son of Charles Boner, of Bath, Somerset, who died at Twickenham, 14 Aug. 1833, and was born at Weston, near Bath, 29 April 1815. He was educated at Bath from 1825 to 1827, and then at Tiverton grammar school from 1827 to 1829. From 1831 to 1837 he was tutor to the two elder sons of John Constable the painter. After his mother's death in 1839, Boner accepted an invitation from August, Freiherr von Dörnberg to reside with him in Germany. Some time later, having learned German, he accompanied the baron to Regensburg, where he had the offer of a post in the family of Maximilian Karl, 6th Prince of Thurn and Taxis. John Henry Boner (January 31, 1845March 6, 1903),Joseph M. Boner was born in Salem's Moravian community. He was educated locally, and at the age of thirteen, he was apprenticed to a newspaper office. In 1865, he started his own Salem newspaper, but by then Boner had become affiliated with the Republican Party, and this bias caused the failure of the paper. Through his political connections, Boner was able to find employment as reading clerk of the North Carolina constitutional convention of 1868 and was chief clerk of the North Carolina House of Representatives in 1869-70. He left North Carolina and entered the civil service in the United States Government Printing Office in Washington, D.C., where he worked until 1886, as a compositor and then as a proofreader.
