Bolshevo railway station is a railway station in Moscow Oblast, Russia. It is located on the Mytishchi-Fryazino section of the Yaroslavsky suburban railway line. Moscow Railway (russian: Московская железная дорога) is a subsidiary of Russian Railways that handles half of Russia's suburban railway operations and a quarter of the country's passenger traffic. Bolshevo (russian: Бо́лшево) is the area of the city of Korolyov (an industrial city in Moscow Oblast, Russia, well known as the cradle of Soviet and Russian space exploration), the historical part of it. The Yaroslavsky suburban railway line (russian: Ярославское направление Московской железной дороги) is one of eleven railway lines used for suburban railway connections between Moscow, Russia, and surrounding areas, mostly in Moscow Oblast. Naukograd ( rus, наукогра́д, p=nəʊkɐˈgrat, also technopole), meaning "science city", is a formal term for towns with high concentrations of research and development facilities in Russia and the Soviet Union, some specifically built by the Soviet Union for these purposes. Some of the towns were secret and were part of a larger system of closed cities in the USSR, many built by forced labour from the Soviet Gulag. ED4 (Electric Trainset)
ED4 (Electric train Demikhovskiy 4-th modification) is a series of Russian electric trainsets, in production since 1996. The trains are produced by DMZ and currently in service on RZD lines in almost every part of the country and former USSR states. Production history The ED4 was designed to accommodate Russia's need for a domestically produced electric train-set. Russia's most widely exploited electric trains, the ER1 and ER2 series, were produced by the Rīgas Vagonbūves Rūpnīca (RVR) plant in Latvia before the collapse of the USSR.
