Boitumelo Thulo (born April 28, 1990), popularly known as Boity, is a South African television personality, rapper, actress, businesswoman and model. In 2019, Thulo was named as one of ''Forbes'' Africa's 30 Under 30 for her contribution in the music and entertainment sector. She came to spotlight after the release of her debut single ''"Wuz Dat"'' in 2018 featuring Nasty C. In 2020, she signed a record deal with Def Jam Africa and release her EP ''4436''. The EP was nominated for Best Hip Hop Album at the 27th South African Music Awards. Early life Thulo was born in Potchefstroom, North West, where she was raised by her maternal grandmother. Potchefstroom
Potchefstroom (, colloquially known as Potch) is an academic city in the North West Province of South Africa. It hosts the Potchefstroom Campus of the North-West University. Potchefstroom is on the Mooi Rivier (Afrikaans for "pretty river"), roughly west-southwest of Johannesburg and east-northeast of Klerksdorp. SABC 1 is a South African public television network operated by the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) which carries programming in English and Nguni. Refiloe Maele Phoolo (born 16 December 1990), professionally known as Cassper Nyovest, is a South African rapper, songwriter, entrepreneur, record producer and amateur boxer.
