Bob Hall (comics)
Robert "Bob" Hall (October 16, 1944) is an American comics artist and writer as well as a playwright and theatre director. He is the co-creator of the West Coast Avengers for Marvel Comics and has worked on such series as '' Armed and Dangerous'' and '' Shadowman'', which he both drew and wrote for Valiant Comics. Biography Education Hall studied theater at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and earned a bachelor's and master's degree there. Moving to New York in the early 1970s, he took courses at John Buscema's school of comic art and The New School. Comics Hall began working in the comics industry in 1974 and drew horror stories for Charlton Comics. He soon moved to Marvel Comics and drew ''The Champions'' and ''Super-Villain Team-Up''. "Bullpen Bulletins" (originally titled "Marvel Bullpen Bulletins") was the news and information page that appeared in most regular monthly comic books from Marvel Comics. In various incarnations since its inception in 1965 until its demise in 2001, it included previews of upcoming Marvel publications (the "Mighty Marvel Checklist"), profiles of Marvel staff members, and a monthly column written by Stan Lee known as "Stan's Soapbox" or "Stan Lee's Soapbox". He started professionally in the medium at the age of 14, and he is most notable for his successful and controversial run as Marvel Comics' ninth editor-in-chief, and his work as editor in chief of Valiant Comics. ''Marvel Team-Up'' is an American comic book series published by Marvel Comics. The series featured two or more Marvel characters in one story.
