Bob Constan
Bob Constan (born March 1, 1959) is a politician from the state of Michigan. He was a member of the Michigan State House of Representatives. A Democrat, he represented the 16th district in Wayne County, and includes the portions of Dearborn Heights, Garden City, Inkster and Allen Park. He currently sits on the City Council for the City of Dearborn Heights. Early life On March 1, 1959, Constan was born in Detroit, Michigan. Constan graduated from Annapolis High School in Dearborn Heights. Education Constan graduated from the University of Michigan and the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. Career Constan practiced law as an attorney for 25 years, representing the Michigan Democratic Party on voter protection issues. He has served on the Michigan State Bar and the Dearborn Area Bar Association. Inkster, Michigan
Inkster is a city in Wayne County in the U.S. state of Michigan. At the 2010 census, the city population was 25,369. History The area was originally inhabited by Native Americans. It was settled by non-indigenous people in 1825. A post office named "Moulin Rouge" was established there in December 1857. Robert Inkster, a Scotsman born March 27, 1828, in Lerwick, Shetland, operated a steam sawmill on present-day Inkster Road near Michigan Avenue in the early 1860s. The post office was renamed "Inkster" in July 1863. The village had a station on the Michigan Central Railroad by 1878. It incorporated as a village in 1926 from parts of Nankin Township and Dearborn Township. After much legal wrangling by the city of Dearborn, Dearborn Township, and the village of Inkster to sort out final borders for these communities, Inkster was incorporated as a city in 1964. The Michigan Democratic Party is the affiliate of the Democratic Party in the state of Michigan. It is based in Lansing. Lavora Barnes is the party's current chair. She was previously the party's Chief Operating Officer. The party currently controls half of Michigan's U.S. House seats, both U.S. Senate seats, and all statewide offices, holding the offices of governor, secretary of state, and attorney general. The University of Detroit Mercy School of Law is the law school of the University of Detroit Mercy and is located in Downtown Detroit, Michigan across from the Renaissance Center. Founded in 1912, Detroit Mercy Law is a private Roman Catholic law school and has been ABA-accredited since 1933. Allen Park, Michigan
Allen Park is a city in Wayne County in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2020 Census, the population was 28,638. Ford Motor Company is an integral part of the community. Many of the company's offices and facilities lie within the city limits. Since 2002, Allen Park is the practice home of the Detroit Lions football team and is also the site of the team's headquarters.
