Blackmill (musician)
Robert Card, better known by his stage name Blackmill, is a British electronic music producer. His music has been described as melodic dubstep / chillstep. Card was born in the Scottish Highlands and started playing a guitar which he got for his birthday at age 8. At the age of 15, he began producing trance music under the name Robert J.C. He started producing dubstep as a response to its growth in 2010. His remix of Ellie Goulding's "Your Song" placed number one on the music blog aggregator Hype Machine in the early 2010s. During 2011, he released his debut album ''Reach for Glory'', as well as another album, titled ''Miracle''. In 2017, he worked with Scottish folk singer John Edge to release the song "Emerald City". 2023 Lewiston Shootings
On October 25, 2023, Robert Card carried out a spree shooting in Lewiston, Maine, United States, resulting in the death of 18 individuals and injuries to 13 others. The initial attack occurred at the Just-in-Time Recreation bowling alley during a youth league event, followed shortly by a second shooting at the Schemengees Bar & Grille Restaurant. Subsequent to these events, Card escaped, prompting the Androscoggin County Sheriff's Office to initiate an extensive manhunt and release his photograph identifying him as the suspect. Forty-nine hours later, on October 27, authorities discovered Card dead in a tractor-trailer near a recycling center in Lisbon, where he had been recently employed, due to a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The shooting is the tenth-deadliest in U.S. history and the deadliest in the history of Maine. IMSA Prototype Challenge
IMSA Prototype Challenge (formerly IMSA Prototype Lites) is a racing series featuring two classes of single-seat prototype cars racing simultaneously. The series is sanctioned by the International Motor Sports Association (IMSA). Most races are held in support of the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. The series races LMP3 class prototype sportscars. The cars have grown in size and speed since its 2006 introduction, starting from four-cylinder and motorcycle powered race cars to large V8 powered cars. Each race is 1 hour and 45 minutes long apart from the season opening 3 hour race at Daytona International Speedway.
