Bob Ajisafe
Abubaker "Bob" Ajisafe (born 13 April 1985) is a British professional boxer. He challenged for the IBO light-heavyweight title in 2016. At regional level, he held the British light-heavyweight title in 2014 and the Commonwealth light-heavyweight title in 2015. Professional career Born in Nottingham and now based in Leeds, Ajisafe turned professional in 2007 after a successful amateur career, winning his first six fights. In 2009 he competed in the Prizefighter tournament, losing in the quarter-final to Carl Dilks. Wins over Ovill McKenzie and Phil Goodwin in 2009 set him up for a challenge for Tony Bellew's Commonwealth title in September 2010; Bellew took a unanimous points decision despite being knocked down in the fourth round.Davies, Gareth A. Dean Francis
Dean Temius Francis (23 January 1974 – 25 May 2018) was a British professional boxer who competed from 1994 to 2014. He held the British super middleweight title from 1997 to 1998; the EBU European super middleweight title in 1997; the Commonwealth light heavyweight title from 2007 to 2008; and the British light heavyweight title in 2008. Following a debilitating shoulder injury in 1998, Francis broke off his career, returning in 2002 and continuing to box until 2014. He was diagnosed with terminal cancer of the bowel in January 2017, and fought a sixteen month battle, before his death from the disease on 25 May 2018. He was 44 years old. Brentwood is a town in the Borough of Brentwood, in the county of Essex in the East of England. Mandatory Challenger
In professional boxing and some other combat sports, a mandatory challenger is an opponent whom a champion must either fight or be forced to vacate their title as champion. A mandatory defence is the opposite of a voluntary defence, where the champion may fight an opponent who might offer greater revenue potential than a mandatory challenger. Mandatory challengers are designated by the champion's sanctioning body; in boxing, the major sanctioning bodies are the WBA, WBC, IBF and WBO. The sanctioning bodies often order eliminators between top-ranked contenders to decide who will receive the mandatory challenger status. If the champion vacates the belt, the mandatory challenger is paired against another challenger for the vacant belt.
