''Blue Oranges'' is a 2009 Bollywood film produced by S M Ferozeuddin Alameer under the Khussro Films banner and directed by Rajesh Ganguly. The film features Rajit Kapur, Rati Agnihotri, Harsh Chhaya, and Aham Sharma in key roles. Plot The film is a crime, suspense thriller where Rajit Kapur plays the role of the detective Nilesh. Nilesh has to investigate the murder of a rich alcoholic woman (Pooja Kanwal). He investigates a bunch of suspects such as the murdered woman’s ex-lover (Aham Sharma), the tenant's son, a rich-brat who gave the woman a lift and the police commissioner's own brother (Harsh Chhaya) who had befriended her, before arriving at the truth. Rajit Kapur is an Indian film and theatre actor and director. He is known for his portrayal of Mahatma Gandhi in the 1996 film, '' The Making of the Mahatma'' for which he won the National Film Award for Best Actor. Other notable roles are as the protagonist Unni in the Malayalam film '' Agnisakshi'', and the fictional detective Byomkesh Bakshi in the eponymous ''television series'', directed by Basu Chatterjee and broadcast on Doordarshan. Harsh Chhaya is an Indian actor. He debuted in a minor role as "Jijo" in the early 1990s Zee TV series '' Tara'', but first came into prominence in the role of Krishnakant Trivedi (KT) in mid 1990s TV series ''Hasratein'', where he portrayed the character of a wealthy boss who exploited his married employee (Savi) into an extramarital affair with him.
