Blitar is a landlocked city in East Java, Indonesia, about 73 km from Malang and 167 km from Surabaya. The area lies within longitude 111° 40' – 112° 09' East and its latitude is 8° 06' South. The city of Blitar lies at an altitude on average 167 metres above sea level, and is an enclave within Blitar Regency which surrounds the city on all sides. The 2018 Liga 2 was the second season of the Liga 2 under its current name, and the ninth season under its current league structure. PSS won the title after a 2–0 win over Semen Padang in the final at Pakansari Stadium, Cibinong on 4 December 2018. The 2017 Liga 3 season was the 2nd season of lower-tier and the inaugural season of the third-tier competition in Indonesia with the new name Liga 3. Persatu Tuban, winner of the 2014 Liga Nusantara are the defending champions, as the 2015 Liga Nusantara was not held and the 2016 ISC Liga Nusantara was not counted as an official league. The 2016 ISC Liga Nusantara or 2016 Indonesia Soccer Championship C season is the second edition of Liga Nusantara after the Second Division and Third Division merged on 2014 season. This season is managed by competition committee of Province Association for qualification round and managed by PT. GTS in national round. The competition started in May 2016. Perseden Denpasar became champion after beating PSN Ngada 2–0 in the final.
