Blassreiter
is a Japanese anime series created by studio Gonzo and the multimedia studio Nitro+. The title is pseudo-German and can be translated as "Pale Rider". A manga titled was serialized in ''Champion Red'' magazine. Along with '' The Tower of Druaga: The Aegis of Uruk'', and later ''Strike Witches'', this series was officially broadcast with English subtitles on the video websites YouTube, Crunchyroll, and BOST TV. It has been licensed for a North American release by Funimation Entertainment. Story The story is set in a fictional Germany and centers on the outbreak of biomechanical creatures called "Demoniacs", who rise from corpses and attack people savagely. The Demoniacs have the ability to merge with most technology including cars and motorcycles, not only gaining control of them but also enhancing their performance greatly. Ichirō Itano
is a Japanese animator, director, and producer. He has worked in a number of science fiction anime series, especially mecha-themed ones. He created several original video animations including ''Angel Cop'', and ''Battle Royal High School''. He directed on ''Megazone 23''. He also directed on a number of episodes and films related to ''Macross''. He also directed ''Gantz'', and worked on series composition and direction for ''Blassreiter''. Yasuko Kobayashi
is a Japanese anime and tokusatsu drama screenwriter who has been involved in various television shows throughout her career, beginning in 1993 with '' Tokusou Robo Janperson''. Gen Urobuchi
is a Japanese novelist, visual novel writer and anime screenwriter. Norihiko Hibino
is a Japanese video game composer and saxophonist. Biography Hibino was born in Osaka. He graduated from the Osaka University School of Human Sciences in 1996. After graduating from Berklee College of Music in 1997, he moved to Kansas City to start a career as a solo jazz musician. He later relocated to Japan to work for Konami, where he became known for his work on Konami's ''Metal Gear Solid'' and ''Zone of the Enders'' video game series.
