Blake Hamilton
Blake Ellis Hamilton (born October 26, 1994) is an American professional basketball player for APOEL of Cyprus Basketball Division 1. He played college basketball at Buffalo. Early life and high school Hamilton was born and grew up in Pasadena, California and attended Pasadena High School. As a senior, he averaged 16 points, 11 rebounds and four blocks per game and was named first team All-Area by the ''Pasadena Star-News'' as the Bulldogs won the CIF Southern Section 3AA state title. College career Northern Arizona Hamilton began his career at Northern Arizona, playing in 18 games and averaging 3.8 points per game as a freshman before opting to leave the program at the end of the season. The 2015–16 Akron Zips men's basketball team represented the University of Akron during the 2015–16 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Zips, led by 12th year head coach Keith Dambrot, played their home games at the James A. Rhodes Arena as members of the East Division of the Mid-American Conference. Akron finished the season 26–9, 13–5 record in conference, winning the East Division title as well as the overall regular season MAC championship. The Zips advanced to the championship of the MAC tournament where they lost to Buffalo. The California Interscholastic Federation-Southern Section (CIF-SS) is the governing body for high school athletics in most of Southern California and is the largest of the ten sections that comprise the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF). The Cypriot Basketball Division A is currently the top-tier level men's professional basketball competition of the Cypriot basketball league system. It is run and governed by the Cyprus Basketball Federation. Format At present, six clubs compete in the league. Since the 2016–17 season, the six teams play each other four times during the regular season, with the top 4 teams reaching the play-off semi-finals stage. One team (the last one) at the end of the season is relegated to the second division, whilst one team from the second division is promoted.
